For most, the NARSxChristopher Kane runway show at London Fashion Week might be an opportunity to redefine the boundaries of fashion. For us, it was an opportunity to reimagine reality. Or, more specifically, AR. By pioneering the Hidden Image Projection technique, we were able to use lightwaves to seamlessly integrate one reality within another: one that could only be revealed through a limited pair of hacked Snapchat Spectacles. Unlike traditional AR experiences before it, viewers could not only see the emotive, color-fueled theatrics secretly adorning the runway, but share it too. Providing unheard-of see-now-buy-now shopping opportunities—and showing the world just how bold NARS could be.
